IWS was founded in 1972 by Horst Schmidt and Siegfried Kaufmann as Industriewerbung H. Schmidt oHG, offering communication solutions for the industry and investment goods. At That time this market was a little-noticed niche. But it was a bold move to position the agency right here. Schmidt and Kaufmann laid the foundation for that, what IWS offers today as an agency for b2b communication.
Through the successful generation change in 2004, today Gunnar Janssen leads the company.
Incidentally, the most new customers we get, come through recommendations. And most of the customers we have lost once, came back to us. We appreciate that.
